Countdown to Christmas in your bullet journal!

Christmas is such an exciting time of year. There’s so much anticipation for the big day and Santa’s arrival. Why not celebrate all of the days leading up to Christmas by creating a Christmas Countdown or Advent Calendar in your bullet journal.

I’ve rounded up 10 fun and easy to make bujo spreads to inspire you to make your own Christmas Countdown page this holiday.

#1. Christmas Balls

Journaliz_ created a countdown to Christmas bullet journal spread using Christmas balls. There are 25 balls so that one can be decorated each day leading up to the holiday.

#2. Tiny Candy Canes

Here is a really easy to make Christmas countdown. Draw 24 little candy canes on the page and then a large one for the 25th. Each day, add the stripes to a candy cane until you reach Christmas.

#3. Christmas Movies Countdown

This advent calendar from bulletjournalnoob is really creative. There are spaces for 24 days and each day a different Christmas movie is added. She even went so far as to write the movie in its font style!

#4. Christmas Lights

Journalsbyflow also provides us with an easy-to-duplicate advent calendar. Strings of tiny lights are numbered. Then each day a light is colored in. Will you make yours white lights or colored lights?

#5. Christmas Tree Countdown

You don’t have to be an artist to create this festive advent calendar. Draw circles of various sizes to create the shape of a tree. Hint: You can draw a tree-shaped triangle in pencil and use it as a guide for your circles. Add a star at the top of the tree for December 25th. Fill one circle in each day until Santa arrives!

#6. Cookie Cutter Countdown

If you love holiday baking, this bullet journal advent calendar is for you. Outlines of cookie cutters include Christmas balls, hearts, trees, stars, candy canes, ornaments, stockings, mittens, gingerbread men, and snowflakes. Decorate a “cookie” for each day leading up to Christmas.

#7. Joyeux Noel Calendar

To create a holiday countdown like this one from bellemichou, begin by drawing strings across the page. Then, each day draw a different Christmas ornament. You can leave them black and white or color them in.

#8. Candy Cane Countdown

Draw one large candy cane on your bullet journal page. Then make stripes for every day leading up to Christmas. Each day fill in a stripe until Christmas.

Drnkrea provides an easy to create a countdown to Christmas. Using simple shapes, make a Christmas tree. Number the shapes and then color in one each day to create a Christmas tree by the 25th.
