Poketo Planner Unboxing & Haul

Have you tried to set goals again and again only to fail just a few weeks later? You lose interest, the goal seems unachievable, or maybe you just aren’t good enough.

Guess what? None of these things are your fault! You just need a better system!

These Poketo Planners are geared towards helping you set your goals, create a plan and actually achieve them.

The secret is in setting a goal and breaking it down into tiny bite-sized tasks that you can work on a little bit each day.

You can achieve any size goals with these planners - it doesn’t have to be only large projects.

Here are some ideas I’m thinking of for these planners:

  • Organizing and cleaning out your kitchen or pantry

  • Planning a birthday party

  • Starting a blog or Youtube channel

  • Homeschooling projects

  • Buying a new home

  • Designing a craft project

  • Holiday setup/take down schedule

  • Planning large homework projects/assignments

  • Anything and everything that involves more than one task to make it happen

I purchased a number of items from Poketo.com. The products’ layouts, paper quality, and designs are top notch.

In fact, I first discovered their products in a museum gift shop. You’ll see my complete haul in the video below.

Poketo Planners and Products Featured in the Video

If you prefer to read, here’s a transcription of the video. Please note, there are small edits for readability.

Hello planner pal, It’s Nancy Queen and today I’m here to show you an unboxing and i'm so excited about this one.

It's from Poketo.

I love unboxings! Let's get this opened. I'm going to take everything out of the box.

First, It comes with this little thank you card and then I also ordered some little sticker tabs. These are monthly, weekly, project, and plain tabs. You get a few sheets of the different ones that I just mentioned and I thought they would be great in this in these planners.

I also ordered a planner set so before I get into the set, this is the Poketo Quarterly Goal Planner. Let's open it up and look at all these different sheets that come in the goal planner.

How to Break in a New Book

I don't know about you but I am crazy about breaking in new books!

I really don't like when the spine's broken.

This, if you don't know, is how you break in a book.

You start with the cover pages. You fold down nice and evenly on both sides.

Then you take a few more pages on each side and you press them down.

Take a few more pages on each side and press down again.

Keep repeating until you reach the center of your book.

My dad is an avid reader taught all of his children how to do this when we were little. Now we all break in books this way and we're all kind of crazy about it.

I was just talking to my sister about it the other day. It turns out, we all just love to break in books. It's just kind of a therapeutic activity that you do when you get a new book.

POKETO Quarterly Goal Planner

Okay back to our Quarterly Planner. It has a nice flat-lay design when the book is open.

The colors are really pretty.

I chose the yellow. I comes in four different color combinations and they're all really good. I had a hard time deciding!

The front page talks about why they made the book.

The next page is a goal setting page with questions such as “challenges you anticipate” and “what do you want to achieve this quarter?”

I like that it's a quarterly goal planner and not an entire year.

The next section is a monthly planner for three months so that you can plan out your goals and have a monthly overview.

Then you can plan them out by the week. This is going to be great planner for setting my goals and acting on them.

At the end of the week you’ll have follow-up questions like:

  • “What did you accomplish this week?”

  • “What were your challenges?”

  • “What are you going to change and learn next week?”

The planner continues this way so that you can set goals, take action, and actually see progress moving towards your goal.

You know, you don't have to accomplish a huge goal every day but if you're working towards it a little tiny bit each day that's the best thing.

This is a great planner. I can't wait to use it try it out and give you a video update!

Poketo Planner Set

Here is the Poketo Concept Planner, Object Notebook, and Project Planner all-in-one set. You can purchase these items individually or as a set. I chose the orange. Again, came in really cute colors and I had a hard time deciding on a favorite color.

Poketo Concept Planner

The Concept Planner is for goal setting and then it has open dated sections so it's kind of similar to the quarterly goal planner but i think it's more for you to work out your ideas.

It has a very nice the weekly planning section.

There are in the Concept Planner. You can lay out the whole year you and lots of projects. These pages are ideal for brainstorming your ideas, writing notes, making drafts or doodles…whatever you need.

This book is the smallest of the three and it’s easy to keep with you wherever you go.

Poketo Object Notebook

Before I open this book, I want to mention all three of the notebooks have a really nice almost like a fabric feeling cover. They're coated so they feel thick and durable.

The pages of these notebooks are nice and thick while feeling very smooth. I think i'm going to enjoy working with these planners.

So I’m opening the Object Notebook and it's all blank pages.

I do a lot of designing, so having a place to draw out ideas and schematics is really helpful for me.

I also think it will work well as a catchall for brain dumps, lists, and mind mapping.

Poketo Project Planner

The Poketo Project Planner is really large making idea for laying out and overseeing projects.

You’ll be able to plan 108 project just in this one planner and my favorite section is progress chart and timeline.

To use it, you’ll write down the name of the project. Then in the next section list all the tasks needed to complete the project. After that, you’ll be able to assign due dates to each task and map your progress as you proceed through the project.

What’s even better is that you can have multiple projects going on simultaneously.

The book starts with a yearly calendar for big-picture planning.

The next section is a monthly plan followed by a weekly plan. The weekly plan includes checkboxes so you can assign your tasks from your project plan and then carry them out as you go through the week.

There’s also a process notes section so that you can easily jot down ideas, meeting points, to dos, and lists.

And the last section of this planner has lots of lined note pages for more catchall information.

Poketo Modernist Coloring Book, Version 2

I have one more item that i'm really thrilled about and I couldn't wait to get this.

It’s the modernist coloring book this is apparently the first volume was a really big hit so I wanted to see what the hype was all about.

I’m not usually into coloring books, I’m more of a color-in-my-planner type gal.

However, I think these designs are really cool. When i saw it on the website I kept thinking how much fun it would be to color in these designs and maybe even add a few doodles of my own.

I have decided I'm going to do a few pages in this and i'll show it to you in a later video. I might even film the thing while I'm while i'm coloring it in.

Let me know what you think of these Poketo products in the comments below!
