10 Polaroid Themed Bullet Journal Ideas for Instant Success

Instant photos and Polaroid camera doodles make amazing bullet journal themes.

Currently, the must-have instant camera is the Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 Camera. It has that iconic body style you’ll see in some of the bujo ideas below.

The photos and cameras are easy to draw and you can use them on just about any bujo spread you can think of. I found them on covers, weekly, and monthly spreads as well as habit and mood trackers.

10 Polaroid Theme Bullet Journal Ideas

#1. Stack of Polaroids

@Bulletsbykate created a stack of instant photos for this monthly cover page. The photograph doodles feature things you may see or experience during the month. This is a cover page that would work for any month of the year.

#2. Instant Photo Monthly

Ribbons of photographs dangle from the top of this monthly cover page. Below the photographs is a month at-a-glance calendar for easy reference. Photo credit to @pikapikapen on Instagram.

#3. Instax Cover Page

Fujifilm Instax Mini Instant Camera was the inspiration for this monthly cover page from @calligraphy_mj. A bright sunny yellow was chosen for the camera color and a monthly calendar is printed on the photo that’s emerging from the camera. Cute daisy doodles provide a nice accent - love this happy page!

#4. Polaroids and Washi

@Productiveplanning created a beautiful monthly spread. Instant photos and washi tape are hand drawn for monthly goals, remember, to-do’s, and next month. If you scroll through all of the image above, you’ll see this spread was first created in pencil, then drawn over in black marker, and filled in with color.

#5. Photograph Weekly

@Journaling.jenna shows us how to use Polaroids to create a weekly bullet journal theme. The days of the week blocks are vertical and at the top of the week is a small black Polaroid with the date written on top using a white pen. Stars and markers add a bit of pop to this easy-to-make spread.

#6. Monthly Polaroid

Twenty-nine tiny instant photo doodles created this monthly bullet journal spread by @mylifeinbullets_. There is one drawing for each day of the month while two more large boxes were made for tracking Instagram growth and to-dos. Peach and gold Tombow Dual Brush pens add color to this spread.

#7. Photograph Mood Tracker

Use Polaroid instant photo doodles to create a monthly mood tracker like this one from @bujo_fox. Several photos hang from a string while the rest of them are falling down the page. Each day a photo is colored in to signify the day’s mood.

#8. Monthly Clips

Here’s another monthly spread using a Polaroid theme. Tiny photos doodles are made for each day of the month. Each of these photos is clipped to a string. It’s an easy to replicate bullet journal spread from @jayyy_mazing.

#9. Weekly Snapshot

Large hand drawn instant photo boxes provide plenty of space to plan daily to-dos, appointments, and events on this weekly spread by @beccasbulletjournal. Shadow lettering notes the month and dates while a pretty floral garland decorates the page.

#10. Washi Tape Photos

Need a creative way to keep track of all your washi tape? Try this clever idea from @my_creativelifenl. Polaroid photos that are clipped to strings cover the page. A bit of washi tape fills in each image providing an excellent catalog of your tapes.
