What Should I Draw: Ideas for April

When you want to draw or doodle, often times coming up with WHAT to draw is the hardest part.

You stare at a blank pieces of paper and nothing comes to mind.

However, if you had a few ideas you could just start drawing.

Those ideas will help you come up with even more ideas and your creativity goes from there.

This has happened to me more times than I can count, so I decided to put together drawing ideas for every month.

I’m starting with April since it’s only a few days away.

Here are 30 prompts you can use to get your creativity going.

How to use these doodle ideas

There is no right or wrong way to use this doodle list.

I made it just to help you get drawing.

Doodling is such an important part of my life, I wanted to share ideas with you so that you can also have creative time every single day.

You can follow the list in order or use whatever placement suits you. Maybe you use one or two of the prompts and those spawn other doodling ideas thus pushing your drawings in a completely different direction.

There are no rules.

I’m not expecting you to post your doodles on social media.

Just have fun and start drawing. Use markers, pens, colored pencils, crayons, or watercolor.

Keep your doodles neat and orderly or get really messy.

If you do decide to post your work on social media, share it with me by tagging @sweetplanit or using #sweetplanit so I can enjoy your drawings too!
