Trying to Stay Positive: 50 Quotes to Survive Tough Times

I love the feeling of being in control of my life and when I’m not, it really stresses me out.

Why? Because it’s scary and I don’t know the outcome.

We’re currently experiencing “shelter-in-place” during the Coronavirus outbreak. The changes going on are like nothing I’ve ever dealt with in my lifetime and hopefully will never have to endure again.

However, I’ve had to change my thoughts during this stressful time.

Rather than worrying about what will happen such as…will my loved ones or I get sick? How long will this quarantine last? Did I buy enough toilet paper?

Instead, I’ve chosen to surround myself with positive thoughts. I’ve turned off the news and am diving into projects I’ve been longing to do but never had the time. Now, I actually HAVE TIME!

I’ll use this time in quarantine to practice self care such as try some new recipes, paint my nails, go for walks, play with my dog, and take a few long relaxing showers.

I’m also going to work on a few craft projects I’ve been wanting to finish, doodle more in my bullet journal, organize my closet, practice hand lettering, and get back into daily journaling.

In addition, I’m going to load my planner and bullet journal with lots of positive quotes.

I’ve rounded up 50 positive quotes that I found inspiring and will remind me daily that I can get through this.

They are listed below and I hope they provide you some peace as well.
