They may just be my favorite plant doodles to draw because they are so forgiving. An extra leaf or a wonky cactus is often the way they appear in nature, so just have fun with these doodles and know it’s okay if you make a mistake.

Here’s what I used to draw my succulent page:

You could also use Micron pens, brush pens, colored pencils, watercolor paints, and plain paper. Just grab your favorite supplies and start doodling.

In addition to my succulent doodle page, I’ve rounded up lots of other succulent and cacti doodle ideas for inspiration.

I created an entire page of succulent and cacti drawings. I like to create pages like this in my bujo so that I have them for reference. I now have an entire reference library of favorite doodles.

For example, let’s say I want to make a new monthly page spread with a succulent theme. I don’t have to sit there thinking of ideas (which is what I used to do). Now I just flip to my succulents page, pick out my favorite doodles and add them to the monthly spread.

As you can see I really like simple line drawings with just a few colors. These neon colors are my go-to at the moment. I like that there are only eight colors in the pack. It adds consistency and cohesiveness to my pages.
