Travel Theme Bullet Journal Spreads

#1. Oh the Places You’ll Go!

Here’s a minimalist travel bullet journal page designed by @michelleyuen. It features all of the places she visited depicted in hand drawn Polaroid images with the name of each destination written below. It’s a great way to recap a year of travel.

#2. Amsterdam

An upcoming trip to Amsterdam inspired this travel page spread by @mylifejournalized. Vibrant city buildings decorate the bottom of the page while the rest of the spread records important informations. The page is neatly broken up with boxes for flight information, restaurants, memories, and to-do list.

#3. Travel Wishlist

Here’s a spread that will look gorgeous in your bullet journal, a travel wishlist! It will be fun to plan for each trip, visit the destination, then color it in once you’ve visited. The bullet journalist wants to visit Nigeria, Cuba, Russia, Japan, and Brazil.

To represent them in the spread, @ajournalbyannie created a drawing of each country along with several facts about it.

#4. Cute Cover Page

If you are traveling in the upcoming month, try making your cover page reflect your plans. Here’s a great example from @karolanne.pelosato. It shows all the destinations she’ll be visiting with cute doodles along the way - adorable!

#5. Maps

@Mydailybullet created a simple and clever travel themed weekly bullet journal spread. A portion of a real map was torn and glued to the lower left corner. Above it is a doodle of a suitcase that is packed and ready to go.

#6. Euro-trip

An upcoming trip to Europe is getting planned out in this bullet journal spread by @karahsdoodles. On the left is a cut-out image of a European town. There’s space to write notes about the trip. On the right page is a packing list divided into suitcase doodles. Essentials, beauty and toiletries, clothes, and miscellaneous all have a suitcase to fill in.

#7. Coming to America

When @_jennifer.salem was planning a trip to the United States, she created a red, white and blue travel themed spread in her bullet journal. The Trip to America spread has two parts. The page on the left records plans including flight info, stuff to buy, things to do, and things to eat. The page on the right covers packing needles such as hand luggage, clothes, tech, and toiletries.

#8. Destination Log

@_diajournals made a travel themed “Places I’ve Been” log. This simple-to-make page has columns to make note of destinations, dates, and favorite memories. Cute globe and paper airplane doodles give it a travel vibe.

#9. First Day Away

You can journal about your travels or create a page full of doodles with short phrases to remind you of a trip. @Mashaplans beautifully records her first day Bolivia using this method using bright and colorful doodles.

#10. Travel Bucket List

I love seeing different ways to do the same thing. In photo #3, I showed you a travel wishlist using drawings of each country. In this photo, @paigeflemingo created a travel bucket list (or wishlist) by drawing Polaroid doodles of each place she wants to visit. Places include Peru, Bora Bora, New Zealand, Costa Rica, Canada, Almafi Coast, Alberta, Spain, and London. Images are colored in using colored pencils for a soft muted look.

#11. Travel Themed Monthly

This monthly page spread created by @lyrajournals is so cute! After drawing the grids for the monthly layout, she added abbreviated days of the week across the top and highlighted each one in orange. Then, down the left side of the page added a few travel stickers like suitcases, a plane window, and a compass.

#12. Travel Recap

Wrap up a fun trip by creating a recap page like @becca.plans made. After a trip to the San Francisco Bay, she created a cute and colorful memory page using cute doodles, various fonts, and stickers.
